If you think different, if you're an innovator, a doer more than a dreamer, you'll understand the indirect value in Sketch Thinking. It's fresh content, delivered in a fresh approach to printed content that walks its own talk of simplicity RULES and so 2016... a fast chunk of golden bite sized learning geared for our ADHD generation. Just like a good design or creative ideation Tool should, it gets your Tuition out of the way quickly so your Intuition can kick in. It leaves you inspired to jump instantly into rapid prototyping and testing the manner it gives you for interacting with others. So... I got a whole lot more retention through practice prompted by a few very key words and drawings. Since many people are not good at drawing and sketching this book teaches people basic techniques of sketching, the author calls it a sketching vocabulary. How to draw a man, a crowd, someone old, someone young, how to draw faces showing moods. The book includes exercises, and shows how to encourage visualization and feeling in sketching. How would you draw cold? A snowflake or a shivering person? Yes, a shivering person has more emotions, it is better for visualization.It is an interesting idea. My team at work does white board designs all the time [squares, circles, lines, text]. Do I think this approach will help my team of software engineers do a better design? I am not sure.

This book is a good collection of quick tips and tricks to get started with visual thinking. Also this is not a traditional book in a sense as it would usually have an image and the following concise explanation about a topic which can be confusing for people expecting broad textual descriptions. Just be aware of that fact before deciding to whether purchase or not.
What can be better? Saw an ad, paid $3, got the book in seconds, finished it in minutes, understood something new!
thought this was something to preview free but I got charged 3 bucks....it's pretty worthless.
Bought the version for $3 and it's not even close to worth it. Should have read the reviews first. Save your money and do not buy this book.
The book has a couple of good ideas, but very few for the money charged for this e-book. The book concentrates on group meetings and avoids examining communication between individuals. This is a flaw. It seems to me that these techniques could be used to talk to individuals on line and in person, as well as groups, but that idea is also avoided.

Excellent book, well and elegant written.
Very useful for begginers and intermediates, plenty of advises and clearly explained concepts.
Last chapters are not very common in many book and are very important.
