I started this book with a bit of hesitation and reluctance. Actually, if I'm honest, a lot of hesitation and reluctance (lol). I'm not a huge fan of erotic novels. I'm afraid they try to hard & end up being cheesy & corny. Also, they tend not to keep my attention for very long. But I must admit, the collection of short stories in District 69: The Crimson Edition peaked my interest.Sexuality has always been, with me anyways, a topic of sort of taboo. Something where I kept my opinions to myself. If sexuality was politics, I would be called a conservative. However, Ra'Mone Marquis would be liberal (the extreme version,lol), to say the least. This book is unapologetically candid & to the point. It takes you on a rollercoaster of sex with three freaky individuals. These sexual escapades almost seem unbelievable. However, the author stated these acts occured trutfully (have mercy). Whatever type of freaky stuff you like, it is in this book. From the pulpit to the frat house, Ra'mone Marquis' raw & unapologetic style seems genuine, sincere, honest, & real. I must admit admit I was thoroughly entertained. So much so,I am going to continue to ride this District 69 train& see where it ends!!!

I highly enjoyed reading this book, the author is truly amazing! He took the time to deliver this "exotic perfection" with pure talent shown from beginning to end, i can't wait for book 2!
First all I can say is WOW!!!! Like one other reader stated Mr. Ra'Mone Marquis clearly has either LIVED or WITNESSED these events that occurred in the book. The vividness and the Freak-meter was off the CHARTS. Okay let me reel myself back in first. Erotica is normally not something that I jump into enthusiastically but I can say that this author brought a very unique twist with his writing style. The characters in each segment were fashioned in such a way that you felt more connected to the story line. Even if the experiences and situations that the characters encountered were foreign to you, you still were drawn into the read because of the masterful way in which the author delivers. This genre typically is predictable and littered with pornographic imagery that has little to no plot; the same could not be said with Mr. Marquis' creation. The sense of the reader becoming overpowered or overwhelmed with the lack of a plot and the copious amounts of meaningless sexual escapades, does not seem to be an issue for this multi-faceted and talented writer. There was a subtle weave of sensuality that was interwoven into the story that seemed to eliminate the "taboo label or feeling that is normally prevalent when attempting to read a story of this genre. Instead of the furtive glances that most people cast around to see who is watching when they are reading stories of this nature, the creativeness of the author erased all of the feelings of guilt that normally are accompanied with reading such a tale. This is my first time reading Mr. Marquis but it certainly won't be the last. If you are looking for a book that will have your "engine revving" your juices flowing, and your minds shrouded in a mist of lust, you certainly will find that this meets those requirements and will definitely surpass all expectations. Kudos Mr. Marquis job WELL DONE!!
“District 69 The Crimson Edition” was the book I have been looking for. Even though I am in my 20’s and have been sexually active for many years, this gave me a framework that really made me think about my sex life in a whole new manner. It’s not creepy or clinical, its written in a helpful, tone. Ra’Mone is that wise older brother that I have always wanted talking to me, telling me how to really start enjoying foreplay and getting what I wanted.
I think my favorite chapter would be chapter 4 “Bathroom Wonder”. I can totally relate when you stated, “To me, a bed is only good for one thing and that’s to sleep.
